Selling on Castorama Marketplace
Poland’s first DIY marketplace. You sell home, garden and renovation ranges through the well-known Castorama network.
Author: Iwona Lewanczyk Rompca · co-founder of Commercraft, e-commerce and marketplace expert · updated: June 2026
Castorama turned castorama.pl into a marketplace on Mirakl technology (Kingfisher group) and launched it in January 2025 as the first major DIY platform in Poland. It is a curated model, with sellers checked against a “home, garden, renovation” profile. It gives makers and distributors of materials, tools and fittings access to a well-known DIY brand and its customers. We help you pass verification, shape your offer to the platform’s requirements and run sales in the Mirakl back office, in a model where the seller handles shipping. The same marketplace model also runs in France: Castorama France launched it in March 2024 (Kingfisher group).
Before you list your first offers, check whether Castorama works with your margin and your expected turnover.

Note: every platform runs its own, often selective seller qualification and decides for itself whether to accept an offer. We help you meet the requirements, prepare and correctly submit your application and guide the process. We cannot, however, guarantee acceptance onto a given platform, because the decision rests with its operator.

How we can support you on Castorama
Verification and KYC
We guide you through Castorama’s closed recruitment: Polish company register (KRS/CEIDG), NIP tax ID and VAT checks, and how your range fits the “home, garden, renovation” profile. We keep on top of the platform’s formal and product requirements so your application goes through smoothly.
Listings and product feed
We build your catalogue and feed to Castorama’s requirements: attributes, variants, technical specifications and EAN codes. We tidy up product data so offers are complete, searchable and ready to publish. Every product needs a 13-digit EAN code and GPSR-compliant data, so we check this before the first file upload. We list a catalogue of several hundred items within a few days.
Content and rich media
We prepare descriptions and rich media that help buyers choose building and renovation products by showing specifications and uses. We match content to Castorama’s standards and DIY customers’ needs: technical specifications, dimensions, uses and photos that show the product in action, not just on a white background.
Mirakl integration
We connect your system to Castorama’s Mirakl back office through Base.com or the integrator you already use, so offers, stock, orders and shipping statuses sync by themselves. The back office also accepts XML files and API, so we match the route to your catalogue size. One of our team used to work at Mirakl, so we know the back office from the operator’s side.
Logistics and service (FBM)
We set up FBM shipping, where the seller covers delivery costs, and returns handling. We help you set costs, delivery times and logistics standards for your range, including bulky items.
Account management and optimisation
We manage the account day to day, monitoring sales, prices and quality metrics, responding to changes and optimising your offer. If on-time delivery or ratings fall below the threshold, the platform can limit your offers’ visibility, so we watch this before it becomes a problem. Our focus is steady growth in Castorama’s share of your revenue. We can also liaise with the Castorama team, for example on the platform’s advertising campaigns, and adjust your offer to campaign results.

Who this is for
We work with manufacturers and distributors who have a ready DIY range and want to sell under a well-known retail brand without building a shop from scratch. We make the biggest difference where:
Your catalogue sits in the home, garden, tools, lighting or renovation categories.
Every product has an EAN code and the data required under GPSR, or these can be added quickly.
Your margin can carry courier shipping within Poland, bulky items included.
You can handle customer service and returns in Polish, because returns go to the seller.

The first DIY marketplace in Poland
Castorama launched its marketplace on 24 January 2025 as the first major DIY chain in Poland to do so. The same model has run in France since March 2024 within the same Kingfisher group, so the platform is not learning from zero on Polish sellers.
A category without the crowd
Home, garden, tools and renovation are categories where, on Allegro, Poland’s largest marketplace, you compete on price against hundreds of offers. On castorama.pl there are many times fewer sellers, and customers arrive with a specific job to get done.
Curated model, the seller ships
This is a closed marketplace: company profile checks and KYC, a price list shared once you pass verification, and a Mirakl seller back office. The seller handles shipping, returns and complaints, which Castorama stores do not accept, so your logistics must be ready before launch.

Castorama seller fees and our pricing
Castorama does not publish a price list for sellers. You get the terms and fee table after verification, and commission and subscription fee invoices are issued on the 1st and 15th of each month. Integrators’ materials put commission at a few to around fifteen per cent of gross value, depending on category.
On our side, managing one platform starts at PLN 2,200 (EUR 504.21) net a month plus 2% of the turnover we handle, assuming the Client has up to 100 new SKUs a month that we adapt to the platform and publish, or from PLN 4,500 (EUR 1,031.33) with no commission. We describe multi-platform packages and other billing models on our marketplace packages page, and you can work out your own case in our calculator.
In practice
Before you calculate commission, check your shipping costs. On Castorama the seller covers delivery and handles returns, so for bulky products the courier can cost more than the platform’s commission.

Our clients’ results on Castorama
Anonymised projects with numbers, described in terms of what we changed and what came of it:
