Selling on MediaMarkt Marketplace

The 3P marketplace from Europe’s largest electronics chain. You enter the MediaMarktSaturn markets with us, including the marketplace launched in Poland in 2025.

MediaMarktSaturn, Europe’s largest electronics chain, runs a 3P marketplace on Mirakl technology, integrated with the MediaMarkt and Saturn stores. The platform operates in seven countries: Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium and, since 2025, Poland. Beyond electronics it is growing categories such as DIY, sport, home, toys and e-mobility. For you, it’s a channel to expand into the big western markets. We help with onboarding, localisation and integration, advising on cross-border requirements: VAT registration, the language of customer service and logistics.

Related services: integration and automation, content and rich media, pricing strategy.

Note: every platform runs its own, often selective, seller qualification and decides independently whether to accept an offer. We help you meet the requirements, prepare and submit the application properly and manage the process, but we cannot guarantee acceptance, because that decision belongs to the operator.

What we do on MediaMarkt

Onboarding (become-a-seller)

We assess your offer's potential and run the seller application process on the MediaMarktSaturn Mirakl platform. We complete the data, highlight the quality requirements and help you start selling on your chosen markets.

Listings and the product feed

We build the catalogue and feed to the platform's requirements: attributes, variants, EAN codes and technical parameters. We organise your product data so offers are complete, consistent and ready to publish on several markets.

Translation and localization

We localise descriptions and content into the languages of your target markets (including German, Spanish and Italian) and adapt them to the local customer. We keep your brand consistent and the terminology correct in every country.

Integration through Mirakl

We connect your system to the Mirakl panel: synchronised offers, stock and orders, and an automated flow of data. Serving several markets becomes repeatable, faster and less error-prone.

Logistics and returns

We design your shipping model from an EU warehouse and returns handling to the requirements of the western markets. We help set delivery costs, lead times and standards, and choose the right fulfilment model.

Account management and optimization

We can also run the account day to day: monitoring sales, prices and quality metrics, responding to change, and optimising your offers and exposure. Our focus is growing the platform's share of your revenue.

How the collaboration works, step by step

1

Checking the fit

We set your range against the platform’s categories and choose the markets. Delivery and returns are costed for each of them separately.

2

Application and verification

Company details, a VAT number on the target market, your ratings history from other marketplaces. Qualification is selective.

3

Catalogue and content

A feed built for the panel’s requirements: 13-digit EAN codes, attributes, variants, GPSR data and copy in the language of the market.

4

Integration and logistics

We connect your system to the panel through Base.com or the API, and set the carriers, lead times and the returns address in the EU.

5

Running the account

Prices, offers, account quality metrics and the response to changes in the category, with a monthly report.

Who this service is for

We work with manufacturers and distributors who have a ready catalogue and want to reach several western markets through one panel, without opening a shop in every country. We change the most where:

Your range sits in electronics, home appliances and accessories, or in the categories the platform is adding: home, sport, toys and e-mobility.

Every product has a 13-digit EAN code, because that is how the platform matches your offer to its own catalogue.

The company has a warehouse and a returns address in the European Union and a VAT number on the market it enters.

Customer service answers in the language of the market, not only in your own.

7 markets in Europe

The marketplace operates in Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland (Belgium and Poland since 2025).

Poland since May 2025

Poland was the seventh country of the group where the marketplace launched. The electronics category is crowded in Poland, but mediamarkt.pl has many times fewer sellers than Allegro, and the customer meets your offer next to the chain’s own range.

The seller ships and handles returns

The platform does not offer sellers a fulfilment service of its own. You need a warehouse and a returns address in the European Union, a VAT number on the target market and customer service in the customer’s language. These are requirements to meet before the start.

As of September 2026.

What selling on MediaMarkt costs

You get the full fee table after verification, but the order of magnitude is known from integrator documentation. The commission depends on the category and sits roughly in the 7-15% range: lowest on consumer electronics, highest on media and items outside the core range. The account costs a further EUR 39 a month, with no onboarding fee, and payouts go out three times a month, on the 1st, the 11th and the 21st.

Whether the channel pays off for your range is something you can work out in the ROI calculator: enter revenue, margin, commission and shipping cost.

In practice

The commission rarely decides whether entering pays off. On the western markets three things make the bill: VAT registration in the target country, a returns address in the EU and customer service in the customer’s language. Count them before you apply, because without them the platform will not clear the account anyway.
