Selling on Decathlon Marketplace
A Mirakl-based marketplace for sport (more than 70 disciplines). We bring sports brands to Decathlon and run their sales.
Author: Artur Rompca · co-founder of Commercraft, over 10 years in e-commerce · updated: June 2026
Decathlon runs a Mirakl-based marketplace, extending its global sports store (1,902 shops and a presence in 82 countries and regions, according to its 2025 results) with products from external sellers. You apply through a form, partners are verified before publication, and the range spans more than 70 sports disciplines. For sports brands, this gives access to customers already looking in their category. We check your eligibility, guide you through onboarding, prepare the feed and content in the markets’ languages, and keep your account within the required metrics. source: Mirakl

How we can support you on Decathlon
Qualification check
Decathlon is a curated marketplace, and an application alone does not guarantee a place: partners are selected by Decathlon. We check whether your range and brand fit the sports profile and whether you meet the formal requirements before you move to onboarding. Those are: a company established in the EU, VAT registration in every country you sell into or OSS, the rights to sell the brands in your catalogue without breaching a selective or exclusive distribution agreement, KYC with Decathlon's payment provider, and Decathlon's own anti-corruption and trade-restriction screening.
Onboarding
We guide you through implementation and account validation before your offers go live. Decathlon's catalogue is strictly governed: product data that passed on Amazon or Otto usually does not pass here without work. We tailor your attributes, size charts and discipline mapping to Decathlon's own standard, complete your data and configure sales parameters. We also prepare you for the compliance evidence Decathlon can request at any time, including GPSR documentation and EN-standard certificates for protective equipment.
Product feed
We build the feed to Decathlon's requirements: attributes, variants, size charts and EAN codes, correctly assigned to disciplines. We organise the data so offers are complete and ready to publish. Where the data is in good shape, we publish tens and sometimes hundreds of offers a day, and we can tell you how fast your catalogue will move before the engagement starts.
Content in the market's language
We localise descriptions and content into the languages of the markets you sell on. We ensure correct sports terminology and brand consistency, which builds local customers' trust and conversion. We are an international team with native and fluent speakers in the markets we work on, so machine translation goes through a second, human pass before it reaches your product pages.
Monitoring and compliance
Decathlon holds sellers to hard numbers. Orders ship within two working days. A product whose average rating falls below 3.5 out of 5 over at least 18 reviews is taken down automatically. A seller who does not keep minimum turnover over six consecutive months loses the slot. Miss these and visibility drops or the account is suspended, usually without a warning you would notice. We watch the metrics, product compliance and delivery punctuality and react before the thresholds are crossed. source: Decathlon Marketplace Seller Conditions
Commissions and settlements
On Decathlon there is nothing to negotiate: the commission for your category is what it is, and it runs roughly 9% to 18% depending on category and market, on top of a monthly seller fee. What can be decided is where you start. With a broad catalogue we go through your categories with you and point to the ones where the margin survives the commission and the return on the onboarding effort comes soonest. We confirm the current rates in the platform's official price list during onboarding.

Who this service is for
Decathlon reviews every application and selects its partners itself. Entry makes sense when:
Your range and brand fit the platform’s sports profile.
Your company is established in the EU, with VAT registration in every country you sell into or OSS.
You hold the rights to sell the brands in your catalogue without breaching a selective or exclusive distribution agreement.
You can pass KYC with Decathlon’s payment provider and Decathlon’s own anti-corruption and trade-restriction screening.
Our Clients on Decathlon
We’ve delivered Decathlon projects for, among others, SAT/Sportofino (distribution of outdoor brands) and Marba Sport (sportswear). Every one of those projects went through Decathlon’s full onboarding, so we know first-hand what the platform accepts and what it rejects.
