Allegro Marketplace Agency in Poland

In Poland, Allegro is where your buyers already are. We run the channel for you, from listings to daily optimisation, so you can focus on the product.

What is Allegro? Allegro is Poland’s largest online marketplace. It plays the role that Amazon plays across most Western European markets, and for Polish shoppers it is the default place to buy online. In 2025 its gross merchandise value reached almost PLN 70 billion, roughly €16 billion, up 9.4% year on year. About 15.6 million active buyers use it, served by more than 160,000 merchants (about.allegro.eu, September 2026). The platform is active in Poland, Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary.

For sellers coming from abroad: localise your listings. Translating them is not enough. Allegro Smart!, with 7.5 million users, has made fast free delivery the norm. InPost covers the rest, with a network of more than 36,000 parcel lockers. A parcel locker, or paczkomat, is a self-service pickup point on the street, and most Polish buyers now prefer it to home delivery.

Let's talk about selling on Allegro

Tell us what you sell and which European markets you already run. We will come back with a view on how your range fits the Polish market, and what the first quarter would look like.

Below is how we support you on your account and the details that separate an account that earns from one that just sits there.

How we can support you on Allegro

Listing and offer optimisation

Visibility comes from the full set of parameters and correct EAN/GTIN codes. They connect your offer to the product card and the category filters. The costly mistake is an offer attached to the wrong product card, or one with incomplete mandatory parameters. It falls out of the filters and out of the comparison on the product card, so only a fraction of buyers ever see it. We check that your offer has not been merged with a competitor’s product card and that mandatory parameters are complete. Only then do we work on the title, the thumbnail and the phrases people actually search for.

Allegro Ads

The biggest trap is paying for clicks you would have won anyway, by advertising an offer that already ranks first organically. We separate defensive campaigns on your own brand and your own offers from offensive ones on broader category phrases. Each has a different goal and a different profitable cost per click. We read return on ad spend in Allegro’s attribution window and adjust for organic sales, so ads performance is not biased by the ranking. Ad budget is determined offer by offer, by unit margin. How the Sponsored, Display and Brands formats work in detail is set out in the guide Allegro Ads from A to Z.

Base.com integration

Base.com, still widely known by its old name Baselinker, is the integrator most Polish sellers run their orders and listings on. It plays the role Channable or plentymarkets play elsewhere in Europe. The devil is in the sync frequency. Stock that updates too rarely during a promotion ends in overselling, and the cancellations that follow hit your account metrics. We set stock buffers and automation rules so one SKU can safely feed many offers. One thing many sellers miss: when you change an offer, relaunch it instead of creating a new one. Its sales history carries ranking weight and a new offer starts building credibility from zero.

Pricing strategy

Allegro Smart! is Allegro’s paid subscription: for a flat annual fee buyers get free delivery to parcel lockers and pickup points above a low order value, plus free returns. Around 7.5 million people in Poland use it, so for most of your buyers delivery is already paid for. They compare the product price itself, and delivery cost matters mainly for bulky goods. We set a minimum margin threshold and automatic repricing rules, so the algorithm cannot drag you into a race to zero in a category you will never win on volume. We count the real cost of Smart! on your side, because free delivery quietly eats margin. Some categories are won by the lowest price, others by the better product card. We treat them differently.

Brand protection

When your product shares a product card, any lower-priced seller can take the Buy Now button and the sales that come with it. We monitor who else lists your EANs, watch minimum prices and report violations through Allegro’s IP protection tools. For brand owners we set up the brand programmes, so your offer sits as the default on the product card. This is the difference between holding your margin and handing it to resellers you never approved.

Compliance and account safety

Some restrictions are silent. Cross the threshold for cancellations or late dispatches and Allegro cuts your impressions, with no alarm at all. We watch the Seller Zone metrics so the account never slips there, and we close gaps in GPSR data before they block an offer. If offers or the account get suspended, we run the appeal. It usually comes down to one missing attribute or a verification document. A safe account is what makes the rest of the work worth doing.

How we run your Allegro account

We review listings, product-card mapping, Seller Zone metrics and campaign structure. You get a list of what is costing you money today, ordered by urgency.

2

3

Implementation

4

Running the channel

Listings, prices, campaigns and customer service in Polish, with a monthly report on what changed.

5

Quarterly review

Plan against result, then the scope for the next quarter.

Who this is for

We work with manufacturers and distributors whose range has demand in Poland and who would rather not serve the market through intermediaries. The fit is usually good when:

Your catalogue comprises hundreds or thousands of SKUs and nobody can maintain parameters listing by listing.

Revenue grows while margin falls, because a repricer runs without a floor.

Sellers you have no agreement with are cannibalising your product cards.

The account got shadow-banned and nobody knows where to start.

If you first want to check whether the range fits Poland at all, you do not need an agency for that. You can check your category yourself, come to us once the first listings are live and we will guide you towards confident, dynamic growth.

Results we deliver

  • brand share in the flagship product category on Allegro: from 1.95% to 3.37% (niche B2B equipment, distributor)
  • a cosmetics manufacturer on Allegro: +120% year on year (health and beauty, brand owner)
  • online sales of a B2B manufacturer: from PLN 20k to PLN 600k per month, with a 4.2x increase in the last year alone

See all client successes.

What an Allegro marketplace agency costs

On our side, running one marketplace starts at €900 net a month plus 2% of the revenue we manage, assuming up to 100 new SKUs a month that we adapt for the marketplace and publish, or at €1,600 a month with no commission. The product data is prepared once and then works across every channel.

We bill in four models: a flat fee, a flat fee plus a commission on revenue, commission only, or rising tiers. Which one fits depends on how mature the channel is, more than on the size of the company.

We set the scope and the rate after the review. The advertising budget always stays with you and is settled directly with the platform. We take no commission on the ad budget and no fees for the number of listed offers.

The catch on Allegro is the Smart! programme. Free delivery is standard for buyers, and the seller carries its cost. Leave it out of the calculation and the margin disappears without anyone noticing.

Frequently asked questions

No, you sell from your existing entity, while we run the account, the listings and customer service in Polish.

No, listings need localising. Categories, mandatory parameters and search terms differ, and a plain translation drops out of the category filters.

A programme with around 7.5 million users that has made fast free delivery the norm. Once delivery is free by default, buyers compare the product price, and that changes pricing strategy.

Mostly through a network of more than 36,000 parcel lockers, which are the standard delivery method there rather than an alternative. We set the delivery parameters accordingly.

We work with access rights inside your account, in a scope we agree at the start. The account stays yours.

We do, and in Polish. Response time and tone feed directly into account metrics, which is why it is part of the service rather than an add-on.

Yes, although on an account with incomplete parameters we would advise against it, because advertising then only spends the budget faster.

Yes, those markets run from the same account. Most of the work there sits in translation and local categorisation.

Commission depends on the category and runs from roughly 1% to 17% of the sale value. There is no listing fee in most categories (source: Allegro).

No. Instead of a yearly retainer independent of results, we agree a two-month notice period.

No, on neither. Listing, content and marketing are included in the cost of the engagement.

Other marketplaces we run

Alongside Allegro we run Amazon, Kaufland, Empik and eMAG.
