Marketplace management pricing

One marketplace in one country costs €900 a month plus 2% commission, or €1,600 a month without commission. Full marketplace management across several channels and countries usually costs €2,200 to €6,000 a month.

Commercraft adjusts every tier to your budget and expectations. What matters is whether the cooperation pays off for you, and if a channel will not, Commercraft tells you so.

Starting out: one marketplace in one country

The starting terms cover one marketplace in one country with around 100 newly listed SKUs a month. You choose one of two models:

  • €900 a month plus 2% commission on channel revenue,
  • €1,600 a month without commission.

Commission is calculated on channel revenue before returns. If your starting revenue is small, the fee can also rise in steps as sales pick up.

Full marketplace management: €2,200 to €6,000

When Commercraft runs several marketplaces in several countries, with a larger range, customer service and campaigns, the fee usually sits between €2,200 and €6,000 a month. Several channels are bundled into packages, so the cost per channel can drop below the starting price.

What drives the price

Number of SKUs

Looking after 100 products is a different job from looking after 2,000. Data upkeep, checks and fixes grow with the range.

Catalogue complexity

Variants, sizes, technical attributes and the platform's category tree set the effort per product. Fashion with many sizes needs more upkeep than a narrow accessories range.

Number of channels

Every marketplace has its own rules for product copy, its own data formats and its own advertising system to look after.

Number of countries

A new country brings translations, its own prices and often its own obligations, such as packaging registration.

Extra services

Customer service, returns and complaints, price optimisation and campaigns widen the scope.

What the fee covers

The fee covers catalogue upkeep, account management, reporting and the weekly check-in. Translating product copy is not charged separately.

On top, you pay your ad budget directly to the platform, plus the marketplace fees and commissions.

Whether a one-off set-up fee applies, and how much it is, depends on your starting point: whether you have your own shop, whether it is connected to a system, what state your product data is in and whether translations already exist.

Contract and start

Contracts with Commercraft are open-ended, with two months’ notice.

For the start, you can agree a more flexible arrangement, such as a smaller scope or a trial period. Raise it in the first call.

Agency or in-house team

An e-commerce manager in Berlin costs around €4,634 a month including employer contributions, according to the StepStone salary report (September 2026). Recruitment, onboarding, tools and holiday cover come on top.

With an agency, you pay for a team that runs several platforms in parallel. If you already have someone for marketplaces, you can bring in Commercraft for individual channels or countries.

Run the numbers yourself

In the marketplace fee calculator you enter revenue, margin and commission per platform and see when a channel starts to pay off. You can add Commercraft’s starting terms there directly.

Frequently asked

Do you work on commission?

Yes. To start, you choose between €900 a month plus 2% commission and €1,600 a month without commission. For full management you agree the model with Commercraft.

Is there a minimum term?

No. Contracts are open-ended with two months’ notice.

When will I see the first sales?

The first products go live in month one. In new countries, formalities such as verification or packaging registration often take longer than the listing itself, usually a few weeks to a few months.
