Selling on home24 (DACH and France)
A curated home & living marketplace owned by the XXXLutz group, live in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France. We help furniture, lighting and decor brands sell on home24 across all four markets.

home24 runs a curated 3P marketplace on Mirakl technology, integrated with its own store with European reach, and is part of the XXXLutz group, one of the largest home & living organisations in the world. If you sell furniture or interiors, it’s your route into the DACH markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and France. We guide you through qualification, offer localisation and integration, and advise on cross-border requirements: VAT registration in the target country, the language of customer service and running logistics from an EU warehouse. The goal is stable, profitable sales across several markets at once.
The terms are public: the first three months carry no subscription, then 39 € a month, plus a commission of 9-22% depending on the category, paid out three times a month. home24 expects a VAT number in each country you sell to, dispatch from a warehouse in Europe, 30-day returns, and product data and customer service in the language of the market. Beyond furniture, lighting and decor, the marketplace now also takes household goods, small kitchen appliances and DIY ranges such as tiles, power tools and heating (source: home24sellerportal.com, seller FAQ, September 2026).
Countries where the platform is active: Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria (3P marketplace).
Related services: integration and automation, content and rich media, pricing strategy.
Note: each platform runs its own, often selective, seller qualification and decides independently whether to accept an offer. We help you meet the requirements, prepare and submit the application properly and manage the process, but we cannot guarantee acceptance, because that decision belongs to the operator.
How we can support you on home24
Getting onto the platform
We assess your range against home24's curated marketplace, complete the application and guide you through partner selection. We know people on the platform side, so before the application goes further we know what may not add up in it: sometimes the whole range, sometimes part of it. The application goes in off the back of that conversation, so you know where you stand before you submit it.
Listings and the product feed
We build the catalogue and feed to Mirakl's requirements: every required attribute, variants and EAN codes. We organise your product data so offers are complete and consistent, ready to publish across several markets in parallel. Where the data is in good shape, we publish tens and sometimes hundreds of offers a day, and we can tell you how fast your catalogue will move before the engagement starts.
Translation and localisation
We localise descriptions and content into the languages of your target markets (German, French) and align them with what local customers expect. We are an international team with fluent German and French speakers, so machine translation goes through a second, human pass before it reaches your product pages. We keep your brand consistent and the industry terminology correct in every country you sell in.
Integration with Mirakl
We connect your system to Mirakl, the platform behind home24, XXXLutz and many other marketplaces: synchronised offers, stock and orders, and an automated flow of data. We also work with Base.com (Baselinker), your ERP or whichever integrator you already run. One of our team worked at Mirakl, so we know the panel from the operator's side. A catalogue prepared once for home24 also opens the door to XXXLutz.
Logistics and returns
We design your shipping model and returns handling from an EU warehouse to match the expectations of the DACH and French markets, where the seller is responsible for logistics, customer service and invoicing. We advise on the carriers worth using on each market and on the rates you can realistically negotiate with them and with 3PL providers, including for furniture and bulky items. More on how the corridor works: cross-border logistics into DACH.
Account management and optimisation
We run the account day to day: sales, prices and quality metrics, responses to reviews and to shifts in the category. This is not optional upkeep. If delivery times slip, ratings fall or your range thins out below what the platform considers safe, home24 can cut your visibility or suspend the account. Our focus is growing home24's share of your revenue on every market.
How the collaboration works, step by step
Checking the fit
Furniture, lighting and decor match the home & living profile. Factor in shipping to Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France, with furniture going as freight.
Application and verification
A VAT number in the country of sale, company documents and a range list. home24 qualifies sellers itself and decides on admission.
Catalogue and content
A feed built to the Mirakl panel's requirements: attributes, variants, EAN, GPSR data and photos, plus translation into German and French.
Integration and logistics
We connect your system to the panel through Base.com or the API, and set up shipping from an EU warehouse, furniture as freight, and returns handling.
Running the account
Prices and shipping settings per market, offers, account quality metrics and a monthly report.

Why home24
Over 100 m € in partner sales
In the 12 months to January 2024 third-party sellers generated more than 100 million € on home24, which calls its marketplace the largest specialised home & living platform for third-party sellers in DACH. In 2022 the store had around 2 million active customers.
39 € a month, 9-22% commission
No subscription for the first three months, then 39 € a month. Commission depends on the category, and payouts arrive on the 1st, 11th and 21st of the month. The seller handles logistics, customer service and invoicing.
Part of the XXXLutz group
home24 has belonged to the XXXLutz group since 2023 (full takeover in 2025), one of the three largest furniture retailers in the world. Both of the group's marketplaces run on Mirakl, so a catalogue built for home24 moves onto XXXLutz mostly through category mapping.

How home24 works as a business
home24 SE stands on three legs: its own B2C platform selling private labels and third-party brands bought into stock (the 1P model), a marketplace for external sellers on Mirakl technology (the 3P model, since July 2022), and the Butlers store chain acquired in 2022. For a manufacturer that means two ways in: as a wholesale supplier to home24, or as a marketplace partner who sells under its own brand and ships the orders itself. This page is about the second route (sources: home24 SE annual report 2022; Mirakl announcement of 12 July 2022).
What selling on home24 costs
The platform's terms are public: the first three months without a subscription, then €39 a month, a commission of 9% to 22% depending on the category, payouts on the 1st, 11th and 21st of the month. The seller handles logistics, customer service and invoicing (source: home24sellerportal.com, seller FAQ, September 2026).
The ROI calculator shows whether the channel pays for your range: enter revenue, margin, commission and shipping cost and read the result in euros.
In practice
Before you look at the commission, check the shipping cost. On home24 the seller pays for delivery and handles returns in four countries, and furniture goes as freight, so with bulky items the carrier is often a larger line in the calculation than the platform's commission.
Client successes on home24
Anonymised projects with numbers, described by what changed and what came of it:
- an importer of home accessories: own brands in porcelain, glass and textiles in a channel where decor competes with furniture.
- a one-person lamp manufacturer, selling on DIY marketplaces and Amazon.de, channels usually reserved for brands with an export department.
