A supplement brand’s monthly sales grew 3.4 times year on year
A younger brand within a manufacturing group used to be found only via product descriptions. Now buyers search for it by name.
The client
A manufacturer of supplements and sports nutrition. The company is behind a brand that belongs to a larger manufacturing group in southern Poland, and that brand is younger and smaller than the group’s flagship. We run its Allegro account. For the parent brand, we launched TikTok Shop. Allegro is Poland’s dominant marketplace, the local equivalent of Amazon.
Where it started
The products were selling, but the brand name wasn’t yet working in search. Buyers found them by typing a category term with the name added. The name on its own came up rarely. In that situation, every sale has to be paid for again. Few buyers come back for the brand.
At the same time, protein raw-material prices rose by around 40%, and the whole category was shrinking. Growth had to come against the market.
Three things made it harder:
- buyers searched for the category term, rarely for the brand name itself,
- the client was not introducing new products, so growth could not come from a wider range,
- the category was under price pressure, and prices had to follow the raw material upwards.
What we did
- We took over the brand’s Allegro account: offer optimisation, rich content and photography.
- We run Allegro Ads and the campaign planner, building visibility for the whole brand.
- We built a profitability calculator covering acquisition cost, platform commission, picking and shipping. It shows which products are worth promoting at all.
- We launched TikTok Shop for the parent brand and listed its products.
- We hold weekly meetings with a spend report and results analysis.
Results
Monthly sales for the brand grew 3.4 times year on year, which is 240%. This happened with prices rising, the category shrinking and no new products introduced.
More important than the number is the change in search. Since June 2026, buyers have searched for the brand by name. Advertising is no longer the only source of traffic, and some buyers come back on their own.
What this means for you
If your brand sells but nobody searches for it by name, all your sales depend on how much you spend on advertising today. Raising the budget changes little. The missing piece is demand for the brand itself, and that is built differently. See how we run retail media on Allegro: selling on Allegro
