Experience

How many brands do you manage, and on which platforms?

Commercraft manages more than 17 brands on 17 platforms, including Amazon.de, Zalando, Kaufland, home24, Decathlon, OBI, Allegro, Empik and eMAG.

Do you have references from my industry?

There are case studies from fashion, sport and outdoor, cosmetics, food supplements, catering equipment, furniture and home, and bicycles. You will find them all in our case studies.

Are you an official partner of Amazon, Kaufland or Zalando?

The partner applications are in progress. Day to day, Commercraft works directly with the account managers on the platform side, for example at Kaufland, home24, Modivo and About You.

Team and account management

Who will manage my account?

After the start, a dedicated account manager takes over your account. For clients in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the contact is Borys Terlecki. He speaks fluent German and spent three years at Mirakl in Munich working with marketplace operators. Operations are led by co-founder Iwona Lewanczyk Rompca, and strategy and integrations by co-founder Artur Rompca.

How many clients does one account manager look after?

Four at most, so there is enough time to know your range in detail.

What happens during holidays or sick leave?

Every account has a stand-in on the team who knows the range and the routines.

Which language do we work in?

Reports and check-ins run in the language you choose: English, German, Polish, Ukrainian, French, Spanish or Dutch.

Approach

How does the start work?

In month one, your products go live on the agreed platforms. In the next two months, the team fills in attributes and fixes rejected offers. From month four, your account manager runs the account as usual.

How fast can products go live?

With complete data, it is quick: 500 EANs on Amazon in 40 hours, almost 350 products on Zalando Germany in one week. The catch is the paperwork for new countries, such as verification, packaging registration and electrical equipment registration. It often takes longer than the listing.

Do you use the same strategy everywhere?

No, because every platform has its own rules for visibility, pricing and product copy. Zalando, for example, lowers the visibility of items with too few sizes in stock, and home24 expects the same prices as your own shop. That is why the team writes product copy for each platform separately.

Which tools do you work with?

Commercraft works in the system you already use, whether that is an ERP, a PIM or a multichannel tool. The team has deep experience with Base.com, the multichannel system most Polish sellers use, and with the Ergonode PIM. It has also built its own tools for channel profitability and listing.

How do you handle the Buy Box and price wars?

Your account manager watches prices and the Buy Box and checks every price change against your margin. The problem often lies elsewhere, in delivery time, stock or account health. The final price is your call.

Pricing and contract

What does it cost?

One marketplace in one country with around 100 newly listed SKUs a month costs €900 plus 2% commission, or €1,600 without commission. Full management across several channels and countries usually costs €2,200 to €6,000 a month. The details are on marketplace management pricing.

What comes on top of the fee?

Your ad budget and the marketplace fees. Whether a one-off set-up fee applies depends on your starting point, for example the state of your product data and existing translations. Translating product copy is included in the monthly fee.

How long does the contract run, and how do I cancel?

Contracts are open-ended with two months’ notice. For the start, you can agree a more flexible arrangement.

Accounts, data and reporting

Who owns the accounts and data?

You do, and Commercraft works directly in your accounts. Read-only access is enough for analysis, and API keys are deleted once the work is done.

How do you report?

Once a week you go through the numbers and next steps with your account manager. Your dashboard shows revenue, margin, share by channel and country, and your most profitable products.

An agency based in Poland

Is an agency based in Poland a good choice for the German market?

The team works in the same time zone as Germany, your contact speaks German, and it already runs accounts on Amazon.de, Zalando, Kaufland and home24. Poland is an added advantage: if you later want to move into Central and Eastern Europe, your agency already knows Allegro. More on a marketplace agency from Poland.
