In short

Modivo is a premium fashion platform and the e-commerce engine of its group next to eobuwie, with a curated partner marketplace built on Mirakl.

Onboarding runs step by step: application, verification and a welcome email, shop configuration, then your offers go live once the account is marked Open, with a trade mark holder’s declaration among the documents.

The model rests on a commission on the order value including delivery, the partner ships directly to the customer within Modivo’s standards, and every size variant needs a unique EAN and SKU.

The marketplace universe: MODIVO

About the platform

Modivo, a Polish marketplace, launched in October 2022 and opened in Italy in June 2023. It is growing quickly. We estimate over 300 sellers, brands and distributors trading there (January 2024), with monthly turnover above PLN 10 million (source: our own analysis of CCC Group periodic reports).

You can spot marketplace products by the “sold by” line. If the seller is not Modivo, you are looking at an external partner.

Modivo’s marketplace is only just getting started. We expect more countries to open in 2024. The Modivo online shop currently operates in 17 countries, mostly in Central and Eastern Europe.

Technology

The platform runs on Mirakl. You manage catalogues, offers, orders and customer messages in the seller portal, via an API integration, or through an integrator. Empik, Decathlon, Black Red White and Home&You use a similar model in Poland, and Super-Pharm is joining them.

The commercial terms

In early 2024 the average commission on completed sales on the Modivo marketplace was around 14%. It is charged on the order value, including any shipping cost. Commission on returned products is refunded, so you settle only for what actually sold. Modivo also expects you to offer free returns, with szybkiezwroty.pl as the preferred platform. On top of the commission, there was a fixed subscription of PLN 150 at the time.

Modivo Ads

You can use Modivo Ads for extra visibility. Pick the offers to promote, set a daily and a total budget, and track performance.

Competition on the platform

Modivo is a relatively open marketplace at present. Seller offers get the same visibility as Modivo’s own. To avoid internal competition between the marketplace and its own range, the Modivo team introduced a set of rules:

  • if Modivo already offers a product, you cannot list it on the platform,
  • where several sellers offer the same product, the offer best for the buyer (price, availability, delivery, reviews and so on) shows first.

Modivo is one of the strongest premium fashion platforms in this part of Europe, combining clothing, footwear and accessories with a carefully built shopping experience. If you run a fashion or lifestyle brand, it is a real sales channel, because Modivo runs a marketplace for external partners. Entry follows specific rules. This guide takes you through the process step by step.

Selling on Modivo: the platform and the group

Modivo is a premium fashion platform and the e-commerce engine of the whole group, alongside its sister site eobuwie. Together, the ecosystem accounts for around PLN 3.9 billion in sales across 15 markets (source: modivoplatform.com). In 2026 the group rebranded: the listed company now trades as MODIVO S.A. (MODIVO PLATFORM), and the name CCC Group is now history, though the retail banners (CCC, HalfPrice, eobuwie, Modivo) remain. For sellers, that move is a clear signal: the Modivo brand and its marketplace are becoming the strategic centre of the group.

Modivo has a marketplace for external sellers

Modivo runs a partner marketplace built on Mirakl, and the seller panel lives in the Mirakl environment. One nuance matters from the start: this is a curated marketplace. To sell, you go through verification, and the key condition is a registered trade mark for the brand you want to offer (source: Modivo partner guide). If you own a registered brand, the door is open. If you do not, partnership or brand distribution is usually the more realistic route.

Who can become a partner, and what onboarding looks like

The process is orderly and runs step by step:

1

Application

you fill in the application form,

2

Verification

Modivo verifies it and sends a welcome email with access to the Mirakl panel,

3

Shop setup

you configure the shop account: details, delivery and returns, categories and documents,

4

Offers live

once the account is marked “Open”, your offers become visible.

For the documents stage, prepare a trade mark holder’s declaration and confirmation of registration (national or EU), plus manufacturer or distributor details and your company registration number. The range is mainly fashion, footwear and accessories, and the marketplace is widening into home and decor and into beauty.

Quality standards

Modivo keeps your offers consistent and premium, so the visual requirements are specific: studio photos on a light background, a packshot on a mannequin or model, and the product filling the frame, so it does not look out of place next to Modivo’s own range. This is not bureaucracy for its own sake. It is what makes your products look right in the brand’s surroundings.

Commissions and fees

The partner guide describes a commission combined with a subscription fee, settled by deduction from your payout. Commission is calculated on the order value (goods plus delivery), plus VAT. Modivo does not publish the rates openly. The official guide gives example figures only, and the binding terms sit in the marketplace terms and with your partner manager (source: partner.modivo.com). Integrators quote 7-16% depending on the category and report no subscription or set-up fee (source: ChannelEngine, 3 September 2026). Skip the numbers circulating on blogs and confirm the current rates at the source.

Logistics, returns and product data

The partner ships directly to the customer, within Modivo’s standards:

  • InPost (parcel lockers) is mandatory; DPD, DHL and InPost are the accepted couriers,
  • free delivery above PLN 149, set at system level,
  • dispatch within 48 hours on working days,
  • returns handled by the customer, settled automatically through PayU.

On the data side, every size variant needs a unique EAN and SKU. You can feed offers manually, by file (XML/CSV/XLSX), through the API, over FTP/HTTP, through a Base.com integration, or with a Magento plugin. New products go through a short catalogue approval, usually within 48 hours.

Performance metrics

Modivo holds partners to the quality of their service. It monitors the order acceptance rate, the share of incidents, the proportion of late dispatches and response times. Keeping those in good shape is the condition for stable sales, so set your processes up from the start to sit comfortably inside the requirements.

Why it pays off, and when partnership is the better route

For a brand with a registered trade mark, Modivo means access to a large premium fashion ecosystem and the group’s 15 markets, with home and beauty growing. Bear in mind that the bar for entry is higher. Curation, the trade mark requirement and the quality standards mean a well-prepared brand has a real advantage, while a company without a brand of its own should consider the partnership or distribution route.

How Commercraft helps

We prepare fashion and lifestyle brands to enter Modivo. We put the product data in order (EANs, attributes, photo quality), connect the integration and the logistics, and take you through the formalities and the platform’s standards. Want to judge whether your brand is ready for the Modivo marketplace? Write to us.

How we can help

Setting up and maintaining the integration takes basic technical skill and steady care for the relationship with the platform and its customers. Platforms change regularly, and if you are slow to react you can lose visibility, or have the account deactivated altogether.

We help companies estimate a platform’s potential, set up every connection needed, list the product range, handle customer messages, and keep growing sales through the marketing tools and promotional campaigns Modivo offers.
