The commission policy has no subscription or listing fee, and our source does not cover shipping by TikTok. On a return, TikTok refunds the commission on the returned items.
In Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Ireland most categories are also at 9%, but the launch period lasts 60 days at 4%.
The price list is short, but it has a few traps: a base that includes VAT, separate rules for Germany, and categories that decide whether a reduced rate applies. Below you will find all the rates for Poland, a table for Germany and an example on a PLN 100 (EUR 22.92) product.

If you sell furniture, textiles, garden products, cosmetics or sports equipment, you pay 9%. The reduced 5% rate covers selected electronics and household appliance categories, and TikTok publishes the full list in a separate table for Poland only. If your product sits on the border, such as a curling iron, a sonic toothbrush or a USB lamp, check its category in Seller Center before you build your pricing on it.
The 2% rate for new sellers covers your first shop in the EU and lasts 90 days. The clock starts once you complete the launch mission, which means having at least 5 products in stock within 15 days of receiving it. The same period and rate apply in Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Greece, the Netherlands, Portugal and Hungary. Because the rate is tied to your first shop, the registration date matters. Plan your launch so that the 90 days fall when your catalogue is already in place.

TikTok charges commission on the value of the completed order including VAT. On a product priced at PLN 100 (EUR 22.92) gross, the 9% rate gives PLN 9. If the base were the net price of PLN 81.30 (EUR 18.63), you would pay PLN 7.32. Across a thousand orders, that gap shows up in your margin.
The order value also includes any delivery fee the buyer pays. The rate already includes VAT, so no VAT is added on top on the commission invoice. In the example below we assume an order without paid delivery and treat the commission as a cost at the list amount.

The commission policy we take the rates from has no subscription or listing fee. Check the current terms in Seller Center before you register, as the commission policy for Poland is dated 29.09.2026 and the German table 16.09.2026.
Our source does not include the cost of shipping handled by TikTok or warehouse rates, so in the example you count your own logistics. The billing model for TikTok Shop ads also falls outside the commission policy. In the calculator you enter advertising as a percentage of turnover, and we treat it the same way in the example. If the whole order is returned, TikTok refunds the full commission. On a partial return, you get back the commission on the returned items only.
If you are thinking of selling on TikTok Shop in Germany, expect a different price list. TikTok publishes one shared category commission table for Germany, Spain, France, Ireland and Italy, updated 16.09.2026. Most categories carry 9%, as in Poland. The reduced 7% covers a long list of subcategories in electronics, computer and office equipment, all household appliances, and beauty and personal care devices. The new shop rate is higher than in Poland: 4% for 60 days.

If you already sell in Poland, the maths is simple: home and garden products, furniture and textiles carry the same 9% in Germany. The difference comes at launch, as the introductory period is shorter and more expensive. Take a bedspread from the home textiles category at PLN 100 (EUR 22.92) gross, with free delivery for the buyer. The category is not electronics, so you pay the 9% base rate.
A PLN 7 (EUR 1.60) gap on every unit during the launch period is a good reason to have your listings, photos and stock ready before you register. Then the 90 days of lower commission work for your sales from day one.
